Bajaj Plastics Limited is the flagship company of ‘Bajaj Group-Nagpur” and has been promoted in 1970. The project had to its credit the first HDPE/PP woven sacks unit in the organized sector. The HDPE woven sacks manufactured by this unit are used for Bulk packaging of cement, fertiliser, chemicals etc. These sacks enjoy a very high reputation over the conventional packaging products because of their all around superiority.

The company “Bajaj Plastics Limited” had also been a pioneer unit in MIDC, Nagpur. It is the single largest unit in India manufacturing HDPE/PP woven sacks and fabrics, for bulk packaging of cement, fertiliser, chemicals etc. The company is the undisputed industry leader and enjoys a very high reputation for its technological superiority, consistent high quality of products and committed service to the customers.

During the formative years, the company struggled hard to overcome market resistance to establish Plastics. Woven sacks in the Fertilizer Industry, resulting in no profits during first 6 year. With a heavy thrust on marketing and efforts put in by the management, the Products were established it started fetching better price realisation enhancing profits and profitability.

Encouraged with good demand and profitability the company implemented expansions and modernisation programmes in quick succession form 1980 to 1999 and increased the installed capacity form 2400 M.T. PA in 1980 to 12000 M.T. PA by 1999-2000. As result of this, there has been considerable increase in production, sales and profitability.

Presently, with the installed capacity of 12000 M.T. PA the company is the largest manufacturer of HDPE/PP Woven Sacks in the Country. The Company’s valued customers include Fertiliser, Cement and Chemical industries in private, joint and public sectors.

The Company has constantly been endeavouring to extend its market for its products. On account of superior quality of its products, the Company has also undertaken exports to European and developed countries over last 10 years and the quantum is in ascending order. The company has won several Exporters Award form PLEXICONCIL in the last 10 years which shows the high standard of Quality in manufacturing of Plastic products achieved by the company in order to meet the demands of the overseas customers in the International Market.
